Combined heat and power with fuel cells
With fuel cells electric power can be produced very efficiently and low-polluting - with a high electric system efficiency especially in the partial-load operational range. The developing heat can be used for building heating. Since the cells are modularly interconnected to arbitrary power units, they are excellently suitable for the decentralized cogeneration in quite different capacity ranges. The brochure outlines fields of application and level of development of fuel cells and reports on operational experiences of pilot and demonstration units.
