Room air conditioning with geothermal heat exchangers
In recent years projects with the aim to compensate for ventilation heat losses and the energy-efficient conditioning of room air were realized. The use of geothermal heat exchangers shows that during the winter months the heating demand can be reduced by preheating the supply air, and that the loads resulting from heated summer air can be compensated by cooling. The Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Employment promoted several functional buildings as demonstration projects.
