In-situ decontamination of aquifers using micro emulsions

The in-situ decontamination of aquifers using microemulsions studied in this project is also generally successful on a large scale. Nearly 90 % of Tetrachloroethylene could be removed from the aquifer. A complete decontamination is possible, as there is no disturbance of the pollutant extraction resulting from microbiological processes.
