Passive House

Conversion of a former water tower into a zero-energy hotel

The water tower from the 1950s has been transformed into a modern design hotel that is 100% self-sufficient by producing regenerative energies, including photovoltaic, solar heat, geothermal energy and wind power. Significant resource and energy savings have also been achieved in the area of building materials through CO2-reduced concrete, recycled materials and mineral insulation.
