Geosynthetically reinforced soil retaining structures - effects of structural factors on deformation characteristics

The project partners examine multi-layered geosynthetically reinforced soil structures in terms of their deformations and load bearing characteristics in order to enable better projections of these aspects for future projects. They demonstrate that an increased soil resistance leads to lower reinforcement requirements and a decreased demand for geosynthetic materials. This increases the economic as well as the resource efficiency.
