Reducing environmental stress by the development of flexible plastic containers for liquid and paste-like media (Part 2)

The design for the collapsible container reduces the use of polythene synthetics in comparison to conventional rigid containers by about 70%. At the same time, by cutting the return transportation of empty containers considerable savings are made in transportation volumes, which in turn brings about reductions in fuel consumption and carbon dioxide emissions.
